1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU travel position in Massachusetts, requiring a permanent MA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of Medical and Surgical ICU experience. Details Hospital ICU setting in Marlborough, Massachusetts Medical ICU and Surgical ICU patient population Patient ratio of 1:2 Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Every third weekend required (Friday and Saturday nights) Float to the ED for boarders as needed Epic EMR experience required 13-week contract, 36 hours per week Requirements Active, permanent Massachusetts RN license required Current ACLS and BLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required, with both Medical ICU and Surgical ICU background Epic EMR experience required Must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler Two professional references required, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher Clean nursing license with no prior disciplinary actions Additional Information Orientation includes two pass/fail exams: a medication exam and a telemetry/EKG exam, each with only one attempt allowed — failure results in immediate contract cancellation Study materials will be provided during the compliance process and facility-specific orientation Candidates must be prepared for a rigorous orientation process with limited retake opportunities
