We are currently searching for a Compassionate Hospice On-Call RN for our Boutique Hospice. This individual is responsible as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team for the provision of skilled nursing assessment, planning and care on an on-call basis in order to maximize the comfort and health of patients and families. Specific responsibilities include:

• Respond to on-call messages that will include making recommendations via phone and making visits to the home of the patient when needed.
• Death pronouncements for patients dying at home or in a location where there is not a registered nurse to pronounce death.
• Make scheduled hospice visits or complete admissions to patients as directed by Clinical Director.

Requirements:

• Prior experience hospice or home care preferred; pain management experience preferred.
• Minimum two years of varied work experience a professional nurse.
• Registered by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a professional nurse.
