13 weeks to start (temp-to-perm strongly preferred)
Schedule:
40 hours per week Monday-Friday Must work at least one weekend per month
Pay Rate:
Contract:
$55/hour
Permanent:
$41-$48/hour (based on experience) Position Overview Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse to support a well-established, non-profit senior living and home health organization serving older adults in the Greater Boston area. The RN will be responsible for managing a caseload of residents requiring nursing interventions, conducting telehealth intakes and ongoing assessments, and coordinating care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. This role offers autonomy, strong organizational support, and meaningful community-based care in a mission-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Complete telehealth intakes, admissions, and annual assessments Develop, implement, and revise individualized plans of care in collaboration with residents, families, and care teams Provide patient and caregiver education to support care needs Conduct regular in-home visits, semi-annual reviews, and medication reconciliation Process lab requests and follow through with providers and residents Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, triaging care needs appropriately Document all care accurately in the electronic health record Communicate concerns to supervisors and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, HIPAA, and organizational policies Qualifications Active Massachusetts RN license in good standing Minimum of 2 years of RN experience (home health or case management preferred) Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and time-management skills Ability to work independently in a community-based setting Proficiency with EMRs and basic computer applications Excellent communication and patient-centered care skills Why This Role?
