care Patient treatment Full Job Description Full-Time, 40 Hours Per Week Monday - Friday (8:30am - 5:00pm) Bilingual Preferred, Not Required. As a critical member of the patient care team, the HIV Retention Nurse is responsible for providing age appropriate care to patients in his/her practice setting. We offer a variety of services to the community, including primary & urgent care, women's health, pediatrics, adult medicine, behavioral health and dental care.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
Knowledge of and willingness to learn and continue with education on HIV/AIDS and commitment to working with others to improve HIV care. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data relative to the patient's status Ability to interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirement relative to his/her specific age. Ability to provide the care needed as described in the patient policies and procedures. Effectively uses Electronic Medical Records Demonstrates flexibility when responding to change. Assumes accountability for all actions What you'll need: Current MA RN license or completion of a formal education program in practical nursing. BSN Preferred. Current state licensure/BLS Certified (with AED). Responsible for keeping certification current. 1-2 years experience performed in a physician's office or community health setting. Minimum one year
MED/SURG
experience desirable. Bilingual Spanish and/or Portuguese skills preferred. IV experience preferred. We offer a work/life balance that other organizations may not be able to provide: Monday -
