Job Description

Overview Join our compassionate healthcare team as an Assisted Living Nurse, where your expertise will directly enhance the quality of life for our residents. In this vital role, you will assist in evaluating potential residents, counsel residents and families in meeting the resident's personal needs, and assist the Resident Service Director as needed to meet the unique needs of seniors in a supportive, community-focused environment. Your dedication will ensure residents receive safe, respectful, and personalized care while promoting their independence and well-being. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day, utilizing your advanced nursing skills and passion for elder care. Responsibilities Assess potential residents and evaluate suitability for assisted living. Collaborate with the team to ensure delivery of service and to meet the resident's needs. Counsel residents and families and coordinate services to meet the psychosocial needs of the resident. Assist the Resident Service Manager as needed to meet EOAI and GAFC requirements. Ensure staff compliance with facility policies, protocols and safety measures. Identify problems and concerns of residents and provide feasible and appropriate recommendations to address such concerns. Complete all documentation as required by EOAI and GAFC. Maintain the confidentiality of all resident information. Qualifications Valid nursing license with current registration; experience in assisted living or long-term care settings preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Excellent communication skills for effective team management and patient interaction; supervisory experience is a plus. Prior experience with GAFC, PACE, SCO and Executive Office of Aging and Independence a plus.
Pay:
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
