Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in Interventional Radiology, ensuring safety throughout procedures. Work closely with radiologists, surgeons, and technologists to facilitate optimal patient outcomes. Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and provide pre- and post-procedure education. Administer medications and IV contrast agents as ordered. Adhere to strict infection control protocols and documentation standards. Respond swiftly to emergencies, demonstrating sound clinical judgment and critical thinking. Help patients and families understand procedures and provide compassionate support.
Qualifications:
Active RN license. Minimum of 2 years recent nursing experience, with at least 1 year in Interventional Radiology preferred. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Strong IV skills and procedural sedation experience highly valued. Adaptable and detail-oriented, with proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
