Job Description

This Registered Nurse position is a benefits eligible position, working three 10-hour shifts (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) at an Ophthalmology Surgery Center. Shifts generally start at 6:30 am and end at 5:00 pm. No weekends. No holidays. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Nurse to join our Ophthalmology Surgery Center team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care for various surgical procedures. Your expertise will ensure a safe, efficient, and compassionate environment for patients undergoing eye surgeries. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented outpatient setting where your skills in medical documentation, patient assessment, and aseptic technique will make a meaningful difference in patients' vision and quality of life. Responsibilities While adhering to the standards of professional nursing practice within the state of Massachusetts and the Centers policies & procedures, this role provides individualized and specialized nursing care to patients in the surgery center. The Staff RN maintains the standard of professional nursing care which includes continuous assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing and evaluating the patient care and providing patient education. Education and Experience Must be a graduate of a college or university and/or accreditied school of nursing and maintain a current license from the MA state Board of Nursing to practice as a registered nurse. Minimum of two (2) years of medical/surgical nursing experience is required. Operating room experience is preferred. Ophthalmology experience is preferred. Pay:
$38.30 - $57.47 per hour
