Bear Mountain Health Care Staff Development Infection Control Nurse Sudbury, MA Apply Staff Development Infection Control Nurse Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Staff Development Infection Control Nurse to join our team at Bear Mountain at Sudbury. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for promoting a culture of quality patient care and infection control practices throughout our facility. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective infection control practices across all departments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards Provide educational training and resources to staff members on infection control principles, proper hand hygiene practices, and other related topics Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement in infection control practices and develop corrective action plans as needed Collaborate with the Infection Prevention and Control Committee to develop and implement evidence-based infection control policies and procedures Identify and address gaps in staff knowledge and skills related to infection control, and develop targeted training programs to improve competencies Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement projects to enhance patient safety and outcomes
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a LPN/RN Nurse Strong understanding of infection control principles, regulatory requirements, and industry standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively educate and engage staff members Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address gaps in infection control practices
