Position Summary:

Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School seeks two qualified Registered Nurses to support Extended School Year (ESY) programs.

Schedule:

Primary Nurse June 29th, 2026 to August 20th, 2026 (Program Break July 20th to July 31st) Monday-Thursday 8:30AM to 2:30PM Anticipated total hours: 144 Secondary Nurse June 30th, 2026 to August 20th, 2026 (Program Break July 20th to July 31st) Tuesday-Thursday 8:30AM to 2:30PM Anticipated total hours: 108 Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to): Manages a comprehensive school health summer program consistent with the Massachusetts guidelines, regulation and statutes governing nursing and school health. Carries out communicable disease prevention and infection control based on current guidelines for universal precautions, prevention of blood borne pathogens exposure and hazardous medical waste disposal. Provides medically prescribed interventions, including medication administration (based on state regulations) and provides care to ill children on a daily basis. Provides first aid to injured children and staff and triage to appropriate health care providers. Documents in the electronic health system. Implements individualized health care plans for students when needed. Is current in health knowledge trends, attends continuing education activities related to current clinical knowledge and professional issues. Other nursing duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university Licensed, or eligible for licensure as a School Nurse by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education (MA DESE), preferred Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation 1 to 3 years of experience in school, pediatric or public health nursing Summer program experience

Compensation:
