1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an outpatient Methadone Clinic position in Danvers, MA, requiring at least 2 years of nursing experience and preferred methadone dosing experience. Details Outpatient methadone clinic setting located in Danvers, MA Serves an adult patient population diagnosed with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) Primary function involves methadone dispensing using onsite dispensing pumps Uses Epic EMR Tuesday through Friday schedule, 10 hours per week (2.5 hours per day) Shift hours are either 6:00 AM-8:30 AM or 7:00 AM-9:30 AM No floating required No charge nurse responsibilities Requirements Active MA RN license required and must be in hand Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required 1 or more years of consistent methadone dosing experience preferred, ideally full-time BLS certification required Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify Previous employees of any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility (travel, permanent, or per diem) must have a 6+ month break before being considered COVID vaccine and booster required (medical exemptions accepted) Flu vaccine required during flu season (medical exemptions accepted) MA RN license, required certifications, and flu vaccine documentation required for consideration Additional Information Provides methadone dosing services to outpatient clinic patients under the direction of the OTP Nurse Manager Responsible for safe administration of medication and monitoring patient effectiveness Collaborates with interdisciplinary staff to deliver direct and indirect patient care First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates are not accepted for this position
