Description Location:
Weymouth, MA - Inpatient Clinical Stabilization Services (CSS)
Program Schedule:
Per diem
Pay Rate:
$39.00/hour (LPN), $42.00/hour (RN) The Licensed Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse is responsible for: Providing general nursing care to all clients in the CSS Program. Performing job activities adhering to medical standards in a compassionate and professional manner and the Nurse participates as a member of the multidisciplinary team. Providing additional nursing care when required (vital signs, assessments, first-aid, etc.) Applying nursing theory and participating in the development, implementation, evaluation, and modification of nursing care plans Managing, directing, and supervising safe and effective nursing care, including the delegation of selected practices to unlicensed assistive personnel Verifying medication orders with the physician and transcribing physician orders
Qualifications Qualifications:
Valid
MA LPN/RN
license from accredited school required Must have current CPR certificate or obtain certification within 90 days of hire Experience in substance abuse/mental health field or an acute care inpatient healthcare environment preferred Working knowledge of Windows 2000 and Microsoft Office including word and Excel preferred
