The practice focuses on supporting the whole child, considering physical, emotional and developmental needs. Team members work collaboratively with families to promote wellness, prevention and evidence -informed treatment. Wholistic Pediatricians offers a supportive, patient-centered environment where clinicians can build lasting relationships with patients and their caregivers. Responsibilities Conduct thorough pediatric assessments, including physical examinations, vital signs, and developmental evaluations to determine patient health status. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children with acute and chronic conditions, utilizing evidence-based practices. Administer vaccinations. Manage urgent care cases. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Athena Health for accurate medical documentation, coding (ICD-10, CPT), and case management. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, family education, and follow-up care to optimize health outcomes. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control standards while delivering safe and confidential patient care. Qualifications Valid Nurse Practitioner license with certification in pediatrics (Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification preferred). Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems including Epic, or Athenahealth; familiarity with medical coding (ICD-10), CPT coding; and documentation standards. Excellent patient assessment skills combined with the ability to triage effectively in urgent situations. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams including behavioral health specialists, physical therapists, and case managers. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations along with infection control practices to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
