Job Description

Nurse Practitioner - Pre-Anesthesia Testing Full Time Annapolis, MD No Call No Weekends Excellent Benefits Luminis Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Pre-Anesthesia Testing team. This outpatient-based role focuses on pre-surgical evaluations and patient readiness for surgery while also serving as a clinical lead for departmental operations and scheduling.
Responsibilities:
Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations, histories, and physicals for surgical patients Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe treatments as appropriate Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on patient care plans Educate patients on surgical preparation, treatment plans, and preventative care Coordinate referrals to specialists or primary care providers when needed Serve as Lead NP overseeing clinical workflow, staffing, and scheduling Support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice Mentor and collaborate with clinical staff and interdisciplinary teams
Requirements:
