Role:
In collaboration with other clinical personnel, coordinates care for the electrophysiology patient population under the direction/ supervision of the Sinai faculty electrophysiologists. The Registered Nurse is responsible for rendering professional nursing care to patients within a clinic office setting, as well as transitions of care. The position directs and guides patient/ family education under the direction of the Provider. Collaborates with cardiologists and designated members of Cardiovascular Institute to execute key clinical priorities and ensure the highest standards of medical care are achieved. Coordinator will also be involved in research clinical trials, patient education, professional education and patient follow up.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Accepts the responsibility and challenge of working with physicians, clinical staff and other support staff to ensure the success of the division and practice. Oversees assignments and monitors work of designated staff. Participates as a team member in the clinic by readily accepting flexible scheduling and changes in daily routine, and by performing additional duties as requested. Participates in setting and implementing division/practice goals, using professional knowledge, skills and experience as a guide. Participates in and may lead in-services and team/division meetings. Serves as a leader and role model for the other clinical staff in the division. Serves as a clinical resource person to staff, physicians and other members of the health care team members with regards to nursing practice/techniques and issues of concern in the assigned area. Work closely with the Practice Manager and other members of the leadership team to ensure that operational issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner. Identifies conflict and utilizes appropriate negotiation and communication skills to reach resolution Holds clinical staff members accountable for fulfilling their assigned job responsibilities.

Education:
Bachelor of Science in
Nursing Experience:
3-5 years
Certification/Licensure:
Registered Nurse license-Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR Salary range $83K to $120K dependent on experience and internal equity
