Bethesda, MD | Full-Time Requires 2-3 years of recent acute care hospital Operating Room experience in a hospital, Scrub and Circulate Schedule is Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm with Intermittent On-call (6-8 times a month) on evenings, nights, weekends and holidays as needed Team Placement is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to support the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as a government contractor in Bethesda, MD. Responsibilities:

✔ Provide direct perioperative nursing care in the operating room ✔ Prepare patients for surgical procedures and assist during operations ✔ Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety standards are followed ✔ Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and multidisciplinary teams ✔ Monitor patient conditions before, during, and after procedures ✔ Document surgical care accurately within EMR systems ✔ Ensure compliance with NIH, Joint Commission, and infection control standards

Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in any U.S. state or territory Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience required Current BLS certification required ACLS preferred Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices and sterile procedures Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills Ability to pass government background/security requirements

Preferred Experience:

Circulating & Scrubbing OR nurse experience Experience in Acute Care Hospital Familiarity with specialty surgical procedures and advanced technologies Why Join Team Placement?
