Job Description

Registered Nurse - Blood Services / Apheresis | NIH Government Contractor Bethesda, MD | Full-Time | Day Shift 7am - 17:30p •One weekend on call a month including weekends/holidays•Join Team Placement and support the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as a Registered Nurse specializing in Blood Services/Apheresis. This is a unique opportunity to work in a prestigious federal healthcare and research environment contributing to life-changing clinical programs and public health initiatives. We are seeking an experienced RN with strong IV and patient care skills who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven setting.
Responsibilities:
✔ Perform blood collection and apheresis procedures ✔ Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment ✔ Collaborate with physicians, lab teams, and research staff ✔ Ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance ✔ Document procedures accurately in EMR systems
Qualifications:
Active RN license (any U.S. state accepted) Minimum 2 years RN experience in Acute Care Hospital Apheresis, infusion, dialysis, or blood services experience preferred BLS required | ACLS preferred Strong communication and critical thinking skills Why Apply?
