Duration:
13 weeks
Start Date:
ASAP, upon completion of credentialing/onboarding
Shift Schedule:
Day shift: Monday Friday, 7:00a 3:30p OR 8:00a 4:30p. No weekends. Off all federal holidays. How many shifts needed per month: Approx. 20 22 weekday shifts (no weekends/holidays) Credentialing / Onboarding time: 6 weeks to 8 weeks
License:
Any state license works (current, active, unrestricted)
Certifications:
Current BLS (AHA or Red Cross)
Education:
BSN, ADN, or Nursing Diploma from an accredited program; passed NCLEX Experience needed: 2 years of strong current acute care experience in Medical Surgical Special Skills needed: Central line care experience is REQUIRED, including dressing changes, flushing, blood draws from central access, and line assessment per protocol. Strong med/surg foundation with confident IV and venous access skills. Flexibility to float between multispecialty clinics, including the eye clinic, adapting to varied patient populations and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care across the multispecialty outpatient clinics (OP 7/OP10), including the eye clinic, supporting a diverse mix of research protocol patients. Perform central line care and maintenance, administer medications, assist with clinic procedures, and complete thorough documentation. Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to keep clinic flow efficient during weekday hours.
