Job Description

TriSource Staffing is seeking a compassionate and skilled Infusion Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will provide professional nursing care, administer infusion therapies, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient health. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, with the flexibility of a temp-to-perm arrangement.

Brandywine and Largo, MD (Must be willing to float between both offices)
Position Type:
Temp-to-Perm Pay Rate:
$45/hr (Higher compensation considered for candidates with oncology experience)
Requirements Licensure:
Active RN license in the state of Maryland.
Experience:
3-5 years of professional nursing experience.
Specialty:
Infusion nursing experience is required . Oncology experience is highly preferred but not required.
Certification:
Current BLS certification.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extensive periods, handle/lift patients, and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Care:
Administer infusion therapies and medications under physician supervision; perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and maintain central line catheters.
Patient Support:
Conduct patient assessments, provide education on treatments and medications, and offer psychosocial support to patients and families.
Monitoring & Documentation:
Monitor patient status, document treatments accurately, and utilize ambulatory infusion pumps while providing instruction to patients/caregivers.
Operations:
Ensure a safe clinical environment, manage medication refills, assist with exams, and maintain efficient patient flow.
Collaboration:
Work closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and serve as a resource for clinical staff.
