LONG-TERM
career path with the potential to grow into a leadership role as the leader of our surgical team, working closely with our Medical Director and Nurse Manager. 2+ years of dermatology or surgical experience required. We provide hands-on clinical training. Position Highlights Monday-Friday schedule (no weekends, evenings or on-call) Full-time (4-5 days/wk, 40 hours, with a comprehensive benefits package) Willing to consider part-time (3 days/wk), but must be available and flexible according to office needs Lead our surgical team and manage patient flow Provide care and education to patients during pre-, intra- and post-op phases Help train and oversee clinical staff Work in a team environment and contribute to improving outcomes Build rewarding relationships and have a lasting impact on patients Receive mentorship and training from leaders in the field of dermatology Grow your management skills and assist Nurse Manager with clinic operations RNFA will assist with suturing minor surgical excisions and Mohs surgery Key Responsibilities Serve as a clinical team leader in delivering high-quality surgical patient care under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and Medical Director Assist providers during surgical, medical, and cosmetic procedures Document and scribe clinical encounters using electronic medical records (EMR) Oversee and coordinate surgical schedule Assist Nurse Manager to develop, implement and adhere to federal, state and local regulations Maintain a safe, efficient, and patient-centered clinical environment Participate in quality assessment to improve the delivery of patient care Lead Emergency Preparedness and OSHA programs Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in dermatology or surgery required Active Maryland RN license or compact state RN license Current BLS or ACLS certification RNFA requires certification and ACLS Strong organizational, multitasking and EMR skills Detail-oriented, dependable, and professional demeanor Interest in long-term growth and leadership development If you are a motivated, experienced nurse looking to grow within a dynamic dermatology practice, we encourage you to apply.
