Licensed Practical Nurse
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
What You'll DoAs an LPN at RCA, you will:.
A former patient may not be hired at the same location w they were treated until a minimum of one year has elapsed since the completion of their treatment at that location. Former patients may be considered for employment at locations within RCA other than w they were treated within a year after treatment.

$31/hour-$38/hour based on years of experienceSchedule:

- Assess patient health by evaluating their physiological and behavioral health, monitoring vital signs, behavioral changes, and response to treatment.
- Administer medications safely and in accordance with prescribed treatment plans.
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure appropriate treatment/discharge plan.
- Educate patients and families about addiction recovery and self-care practices.
- Document patient progress and maintain medical records with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Maintain a safe, structured environment that supports recovery and well-being and respects the dignity and diversity of all individuals.
- Complete documentation and follow procedures outlined in organizational policies and procedures. What We're Looking For
- An active LPN license in Maryland
- A current BLS certification
- 2 years of nursing experience preferred
- One year of experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or detox services is preferred; phlebotomy skills preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills to provide high-quality patient care.
- Knowledge of health care, detoxification process, addiction, co-occurring disorders, and DSM Criteria preferred.
- Competency in performing CLIA waived testing.
