1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health RN for a psychiatric hospital setting, with evening shift charge nurse responsibilities and a minimum of 2 years of experience required. Details General adult behavioral health unit in a 337-bed psychiatric hospital Evening shift schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts) Every other weekend required No on-call responsibilities Floating is required to any age population based on scheduling needs Uses Sunrise for charting Local candidates are accepted for this position Requirements Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) currently in hand Current BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience required Must be able to serve in a charge RN capacity when needed Two professional references required for consideration PDF copies of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration Additional Information Charge RN duties may be assigned during the shift; no additional charge pay differential is provided Fingerprinting must be completed in Maryland prior to start Navy blue scrubs required Free parking available on campus Up to 1 pre-approved RTO request is allowed for the duration of the contract First-time travelers are welcome to apply Sunrise EMR experience is beneficial given the charting system in use
