• Provide direct patient care in a 51-60 bed Emergency Department at a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
• Assess, plan, and manage care for patients presenting with common emergency diagnoses including chest pain and abdominal pain
• Perform all standard emergency department procedures as required
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Cerner EMR
• Float to other units within acuity as directed by staffing
• Participate in every-other holiday coverage and every third weekend rotation Required Qualifications
• Active Delaware RN license or valid Compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (no exceptions)
• Recent hands-on Epic EMR experience required
• Current BLS certification and all other relevant certifications with valid expiration dates
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with Cerner EMR in addition to Epic
• Familiarity with high-acuity emergency department environments and emergency procedures Why Join Us
