Schedule/Hours:
Travel position; flexible schedule required based on facility needs
Qualifications:
Active RN license, valid in Maryland Minimum 1 year of recent stepdown experience BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong critical thinking and communication skills Experience working with multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in a stepdown unit for adult populations Monitor patient status, recognizing and responding to acute changes Administer medications and therapies as prescribed Document observations and interventions clearly and accurately Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other nurses to coordinate treatment plans Educate patients and families on post-acute care and recovery process
