Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. As a vital member of our healthcare facility, you will provide exceptional care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your expertise will contribute to the overall success of our surgical operations and ensure the highest standards of patient safety and comfort. Duties Prepare patients for surgery by conducting pre-operative assessments and educating them about the procedure. Assist in the administration of anesthesia and monitor patients' vital signs during surgery. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Perform airway management and IV infusion as necessary throughout surgical procedures. Provide acute pain management and ostomy care post-operatively. Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room and adhere to infection control protocols. Document patient care accurately in medical records and assist in post-operative recovery. Participate in continuous education and training programs to enhance clinical skills. Skills Proficiency in airway management techniques 2 Years Experience working in an operating room setting is required Large joints as well as sports medicine knowledge is preferred Familiarity with medical office protocols and CT imaging processes is an advantage. Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
