Job Description

Registered Nurse -
PACU Germantown, MD Pay From:
$45 per hour
MUST:
Experienced Registered Nurse 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse 2+ years of experience working in the PreOp/Recovery 2+ years of experience working within the medical-surgical specialty Ability to push/pull patients on stretcher and assist in patient lifting Active Registered Nurse licensure in state of Maryland Active BLS and ACLS certification Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records ( eClinicalWorks preferred) BSN required
DUTIES:
Identifies patient care requirements throughout the office/procedure experience Established a compassionate environment by providing support to patients and families Admits and considerately prepares patients for procedures Assists in preparation of the procedure room, equipment, and procedure supplies Prepares required patient medications for the procedure Consults effectively with physician and team members about patient variables Monitors and administers sedation/medications, as directed by physician Continuously monitors and assesses patients, adjusting patient care accordingly Responds and reacts appropriately to any emergency care needs of patient Provides preoperative/recovery care and education to patient Monitors and maintains adequate clinical supplies, based on patient load Other duties as assigned •Quadrant, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
