Job Description

Centurion is proud to provide comprehensive healthcare services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently expanding our team at Eastern Correctional Institution (ECI) and Maryland Correctional Institution - Hagerstown (MCIH) and would love for you to be part of it. The Certified Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) in Hagerstown is responsible for assessing and managing a variety of complex wound conditions, including deep wounds, skin tears, ostomies, severe burns, pressure injuries, bedsores, and diabetic foot wounds. This role works closely with clinical staff to promote optimal healing outcomes and is expected to remain current on evidence-based wound care practices, treatments, and products. The Wound Care RN in Westover provides holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor, the RN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and address the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
Pay Range:

Qualifications:
Active RN license to practice in Maryland Completion of an accredited WOC Nursing Education Program or Wound Care Certification (WCC) Minimum of two years (in the past five years) work experience as a RN preferred in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility Knowledge of wound care recommendations and products Experience working in corrections preferred Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
