Contract-to-HireNurseAmerica is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a leading outpatient oncology practice in Brandywine, MD. This Contract-to-Hire opportunity offers the chance to work alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team providing exceptional care to patients undergoing radiation oncology treatment.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, laboratory results, treatment response, and psychosocial needsDevelop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plansAdminister prescribed medications and supportive therapiesMonitor patients for treatment-related side effects and coordinate care interventions as neededEducate patients and families regarding treatment plans, symptom management, and follow-up careProvide emotional support and advocacy throughout the patient care journeyMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentationCoordinate treatment authorizations, referrals, scheduling, and patient follow-upEnsure compliance with OSHA, infection control, and safety standardsCollaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, radiation therapists, and other clinical team membersQualificationsActive Maryland RN License or Compact RN LicenseCurrent BLS CertificationMinimum 1-3 years of Registered Nurse experienceOncology experience strongly preferredExperience in Radiation Oncology, Oncology, Hematology, or outpatient cancer care settings preferredExcellent clinical assessment, communication, and patient education skillsWork EnvironmentOutpatient Oncology PracticeDay Shift ScheduleExposure to radiation treatment environmentsFrequent standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 40 poundsWhy Join This Opportunity?
