  • RN•IR Job Type Contract Advance your nursing career in a dynamic interventional radiology environment.
We are searching for a skilled Registered Nurse experienced in IR to support a busy vascular-focused unit. This assignment responds to a confirmed staffing need, filling the upcoming vacancy when the current IR RN transitions out in mid-August. Be part of the essential care team performing critical procedures, partnering closely with radiologists and physicians.
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time contract assignment
Key Qualifications:
Active RN license with current standing Recent experience in Interventional Radiology nursing required Solid background in vascular procedures (PE, thrombectomies, DVTs, angiograms, fistulas, nephrostomies) Excellent critical thinking and rapid assessment skills BLS and ACLS certifications Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide expert nursing care for patients undergoing IR vascular procedures Monitor and assess patients pre

  • and post-procedure, managing complications promptly Facilitate patient safety by upholding strict protocols and infection prevention measures Educate patients and families on pre
  • and post-procedure expectations Document all activities and observations accurately in the electronic medical record Work closely with radiologists and the healthcare team to coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care
