Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - IR Job Type Contract A rewarding nursing assignment is available for a skilled RN with experience in Interventional Radiology. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, focusing exclusively on all vascular procedures without neuro or stroke cases. The team is seeking a dedicated nurse to step in as the current IR RN transitions out, ensuring uninterrupted patient care.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current, unrestricted RN license Minimum of 2 years' experience in Interventional Radiology nursing is preferred Proficiency in assisting with vascular procedures such as PE, thrombectomies, DVT, angiograms, fistulas, and nephrostomies BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong critical thinking skills and ability to respond calmly under pressure Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Schedule:
Full time, contract assignment
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care throughout interventional radiology procedures Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency Prepare and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures Administer medications and monitor vital signs as needed Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols Assist with room preparation, supply management, and post-procedure patient education
