Overview Anchor Home is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Nursing Quality & Compliance Intern to support quality assurance, compliance, and operational projects throughout the fall semester. This internship is ideal for a nursing student interested in healthcare administration, quality improvement, and clinical documentation. The intern will gain hands-on experience with electronic health records, compliance monitoring, staff training initiatives, and projects that support high-quality services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Key Responsibilities Review documentation in the electronic health records (EHR) system to help ensure records are accurate, complete, and compliant. Identify documentation issues and assist with communicating needed corrections to managers and staff. Support the Person-Centered Planning (PCP) process by gathering, organizing, and tracking required documentation. Help monitor documentation deadlines and ensure records remain current and up to date. Maintain tracking logs and assist with preparing reports related to quality assurance and compliance. Assist with tracking employee training requirements and monitoring completion of required trainings. Help coordinate training schedules, maintain training records, and follow up with staff regarding outstanding requirements. Participate in quality improvement and compliance projects as assigned. Assist with other administrative and operational projects as needed. Qualifications Undergraduate student currently pursuing a degree in Nursing Strong verbal and written communication skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems, technologies, and industries quickly
Schedule:
Fixed Part-Time Hours, flexible around student's schedule

In person, Office Setting;
Timonium, MD Pay Rate:
$17 per hour
