Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-Time, Days & Nights (12 hours) -
Oakland, MD Job Summary:
Dennett Rehab Center, a beautiful 99-bed skilled nursing facility in Oakland, Maryland, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide hands-on care, critical assessments, and clinical leadership to our residents. Sign On Bonus:
$20,000
Job Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Assess and monitor residents' health status and respond promptly to changes Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team Supervise and support CNAs and LPNs as needed Document accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) Follow all policies and procedures of the facility Serve as charge nurses when assigned Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information Demonstrate respect of resident rights and dignity
Qualifications:
Current RN license in Maryland or Multistate license CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) Prior experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus, but we will train the right candidate Strong communication and critical thinking skills A team-player mindset with a passion for patient-centered care
