Inpatient Facility Job Summary:

Seeking a Nurse Practitioner (FNP or AGNP) to provide high-quality patient care, ensuring safe medical withdrawal management and continuity of care in an inpatient setting.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the clinical team to manage patient care, including withdrawal management Administer and monitor medications, including use of EMAR system Perform history & physical exams and comprehensive patient evaluations Order and interpret labs; develop appropriate treatment plans Assess admissions and determine medical appropriateness Prescribe medications, including those for withdrawal management Address patient medical concerns in a timely manner Ensure accurate documentation and maintain HIPAA compliance Coordinate external referrals when needed Participate in on-call coverage as required

Qualifications, Licensure, Experience:

Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license (FNP or AGNP) DEA and CDS licenses required Current state licensure Minimum 2+ years of Nurse Practitioner experience Preferred experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment Familiarity with Kipu
