Delegating Registered Nurse (DDA setting) $250. per resident/month

Nurse will be responsible for planning and coordinating medical services for residents including: Care Plan (based on the application of scientific nursing principles), Initial Assessment (comprehensive assessments of health status), Nursing Assessments (Monthly), HRST (Annually), and staff training.

Responsibilities:

1) Provide Nursing Oversight and Care Management services for children/adults with complex medical conditions and children/adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. 2) Consult with and provide support to staff in times of medical crisis or change in health status. 3) Attend meetings, participate in annual teams meetings, and participate in weekly staff meetings. 4) Recommend and develop program procedures, which pertain to the provision of health related support services and nursing oversight. 5) Follow State health and safety standards. 6) Oversee the administeration of medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Knowledge of medication administration
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with youth/adults and healthcare professional.
