Schedule:
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 8:00 AM to 4:00
PM Responsibilities:
Provide basic first aid and care for campers and staff Assess and respond to minor illnesses and injuries Administer medications as needed according to camp procedures Maintain health records and communicate with camp leadership regarding health concerns Help ensure a safe and healthy environment for our youngest campers The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, is organized, and is able to make sound decisions in a fast paced camp setting.
Qualifications:
Current RN or LPN license in good standing CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before employment) Experience working with children preferred Strong assessment and decision making skills Ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and healthcare providers Ability to maintain confidential health information Comfortable working independently while collaborating with camp leadership Experience administering medications and maintaining medical records preferred Ability to respond calmly and professionally in emergency situations
Preferred Qualifications:
School, pediatric, camp, or public health nursing experience Experience working with preschool aged children Familiarity with managing allergies, asthma, and other common childhood health concerns
Please Note:
This position is seasonal employment full-time from Monday June 15th-Friday, August 14th.
