Registered Nurse Co-Ed Adolescent Mood Disorder Unit Sheppard Pratt - 3.2 Towson, MD Job Details $37.08 - $56.83 an hour 23 hours ago Benefits 403(b) matching Mileage reimbursement Health insurance Dental insurance Tuition reimbursement Paid time off Employee assistance program Vision insurance 403(b) Qualifications CPR Certification RN License BLS Certification Full Job Description The Co-Ed Adolescent Mood Disorder Unit is for the multi-disciplinary assessment, evaluation, crisis intervention, and stabilization of adolescent female and male patients. Discharge planning emphasizes movement to day hospital or outpatient care as soon as the crisis has been stabilized. What to expect. Perform a full range of professional psychiatric nursing services, including assessing, planning, administering, and evaluating patient care in accordance with team treatment plans. Administer medical treatment as prescribed by physician. Teach and provide psychosocial support to patients and their families. Provide day-to-day clinical direction to assigned Mental Health Workers or other paraprofessional staff. Document and report patient progress to treatment team. What you'll get from us. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience as a registered nurse. What we need from you. Must possess a current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Maryland (or compact state) at time of appointment and continuously while in position. Experience in a psychiatric nursing setting preferred. All new clinical staff will begin their extended clinical orientation/training immediately following your first day of employment.
