36 Hours Per Week Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient-centered care for both adult and pediatric populations in a Medical/Surgical setting. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, clinically confident, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment with minimal orientation. Primary Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and pediatric Medical/Surgical patients Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using Cerner EMR Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions Respond effectively during emergency situations and critical patient events Ensure compliance with nursing standards, infection control, and patient safety protocols Maintain patient confidentiality and professional nursing standards Required Qualifications Education Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN) Licensure & Certifications Active Maine RN License or Compact RN License BLS Certification ACLS Certification PALS Certification Experience Medical/Surgical nursing experience preferred Adult and Pediatric patient care experience preferred Experience with Cerner EMR preferred Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Required Skills Medical/Surgical Nursing Adult Patient Care Pediatric Patient Care Patient Assessment Medication Administration Clinical Documentation Care Planning Emergency Response Cerner EMR Patient Education Interdisciplinary Collaboration Critical Thinking & Clinical Decision-Making Contact Information For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
