Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 2:30pm

Qualifications:

Valid RN licensure for the state of Maine Prior experience as a School RN or in pediatric nursing preferred BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required Strong communication abilities for interacting with students, staff, and caregivers Well-versed in managing acute, chronic, and emergent health concerns Committed to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory guidelines

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct medical care and first aid to students and staff as needed Coordinate and manage care for students with chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, asthma, allergies) Administer medications and maintain accurate records according to school policies Promote health education and preventive care throughout the school community Collaborate with educators and parents to develop health plans and accommodations Ensure compliance with immunization and health screening requirements Experience a supportive, collaborative atmosphere that values your clinical expertise and advocacy for student health.
