Registered Nurse Emergency Room Location:
Calais, Maine Pay Rate:
$55 $60/hr

Weeks Schedule:
12-hour day shifts; 7:00 AM 7:30 PM or 9:00 AM 9:00
PM Experience:
ER experience preferred About the Role We are seeking a Registered Nurse Emergency Room for a 10-week day shift contract in Calais, ME. This role is responsible for providing safe, effective, patient-centered emergency care in a critical access hospital setting. Responsibilities Provide direct emergency nursing care to patients and families Assess patient conditions and respond quickly in urgent situations Develop and support patient care plans with the healthcare team Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital standards Communicate clearly with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff Protect patient confidentiality and support quality care delivery Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current
BLS/BCLS
certification required ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills Ability to function independently in emergency situations Ability to work 12-hour day shifts Holiday coverage required Step into a meaningful ER nursing opportunity where your calm response, clinical skill, and patient-first approach can make a real difference.
