Overview Contract Registered Nurse position in Lewiston, ME providing psychiatric/behavioral health care in an emergency/crisis setting. Night shift (7p-7a), start ASAP.
Rate:
$2,182 per 36 hours.

Type:
Contract/Travel Requirements Active RN license Graduate of an accredited nursing program BLS required CPI or crisis-prevention training preferred Prior behavioral health or emergency experience preferred Strong assessment, de-escalation, and communication skills Ability to manage high-acuity crisis situations Responsibilities Conduct crisis and psychiatric assessments, including suicide risk evaluations Monitor patient safety and apply de-escalation techniques Administer psychiatric medications and ordered treatments Collaborate with behavioral health and emergency department teams Develop and implement individualized care plans Educate patients and families on treatment plans and resources Accurately document assessments, interventions, and care in the EMR
