Registered Nurse Obstetrics Location:
Machias, Maine Pay Rate:
$75/hr to $80/hr

Night Shift Experience:
Minimum 2 years required About the Role We are seeking an experienced Obstetrics Registered Nurse for a 13-week rapid response contract opportunity in Machias, Maine. This role supports the OB unit and provides care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gynecology patients in a patient-centered hospital setting. Responsibilities Provide holistic nursing care for OB patients using the nursing process Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for antepartum, labor, delivery, postpartum, nursery, and post-op GYN patients Educate patients and families while supporting safe and individualized care Manage supplies, equipment, documentation, and unit-specific clinical needs Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and hospital departments to support quality patient outcomes Requirements Active Maine Registered Nurse License Required Minimum 2 years of OB, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, or acute care RN experience required BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, And STABLE Certifications Required Cerner experience preferred
