1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced OB RN for a Labor, Delivery & Post Partum position requiring a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience and current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications. Details Day shift position on an OB unit Patient population includes antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gynecology patients 13-week contract Requirements Active Maine (ME) or Compact RN license currently in hand Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and
S.T.A.B.L.E.
Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
COVID-19
vaccination required per state mandate Proficient computer and communication skills, both written and oral Additional Information Provides holistic, individualized OB nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care Demonstrates clinical competency, nursing judgment, and patient teaching skills across all OB sub-populations Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary hospital staff to promote teamwork and quality patient care Responsible for managing unit supplies and equipment Must successfully complete general nursing and unit-specific orientation This is a Rapid Response/Crisis position, indicating an urgent need for placement
