Job Description

Ref #: 9149215 Join a 14-week contract (non-travel) opportunity in Orono, ME beginning June 23, 2026. This role follows a 6:30 AM-7:00 PM schedule and offers a local rate of $1,418 per 36 hours.
Key requirements:
Active, valid Registered Nurse license for the state. BLS certification.
Core responsibilities:
Assess patients, develop and implement individualized nursing care plans, and document ongoing progress and education in the medical record. Administer medications, collect specimens for testing, and assist with clinical procedures. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate treatment and maintain accurate records. Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment by enforcing policies, supervising patient conduct, and promoting order and safety. This position emphasizes strong clinical judgment, clear documentation, and teamwork to deliver high-quality patient care.
