1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a ME or compact RN license and a minimum of one year of ER experience. Details Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital setting Night shift schedule: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM 36 hours per week 13-week contract Requirements Active ME or compact RN license required Minimum 1 year of ER/ED nursing experience required Current BLS certification required (copy required for consideration) All other current certifications required for consideration Full SSN required for consideration Valid driver's license required for consideration 2 professional references within the past year required, with at least one from a Supervisor, Manager, or Director (Charge Nurse acceptable; peer references not accepted) Work history must include hospital name, location, number of beds, trauma level, teaching hospital status, and EMR/charting system used Additional Information Flu vaccination is required prior to start Medical exemptions only are accepted for the flu vaccine requirement and must be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance for committee review Candidates must have a permanent address 100+ miles South or Southwest of Bangor, ME to be eligible Candidates who have previously worked at any Northern Light Health Hospital in a permanent capacity are not eligible All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission Manager interviews are required for this position
