RN Stepdown Duration:
13 weeks (possible extension)
Shift:
Nights; 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Guaranteed hours : 36 Requirements Valid RN license with current registration; additional certifications such as BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred. Minimum of two years of recent experience in a stepdown unit or similar acute care setting; ICU experience highly desirable. 2 years RN Stepdown/Progressive Care experience Telemetry monitoring experience - [

] Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to determine ongoing care needs. Administer medications and treatments with precision, including IV infusions, medication administration, and aseptic techniques. Monitor patients closely for signs of acute pain or deterioration, implementing appropriate interventions promptly. Collaborate with physicians and specialists in procedures such as cardiac catheterization, dialysis, or surgical interventions like suturing. Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards. CA02
