Desired Skills and Experience:
Active RN license Previous experience in oncology, step-down units, or medical-surgical nursing preferred Mastery of nursing assessment, medication administration, and patient care protocols Basic understanding of cancer pathophysiology
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patient needs; deliver care as outlined in physician-authorized plans, following current nursing standards Provide hands-on patient care, including assessments, medication management, and responding to patient needs Participate in collaborative updates and revisions of treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and patient conditions Accurately process and execute physician/provider orders in a timely manner Follow up on medication administration and clarify orders as necessary
