Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current and valid RN license At least one year of recent Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred) Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Effective communicator, adaptable to fast-changing environments Previous travel nursing experience is a plus but not required
Responsibilities & Duties:
Deliver high-quality care to patients transitioning from critical care to med-surg Monitor patients' vital signs and detect changes in patient condition swiftly Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans Provide patient and family education throughout the care process Accurately document patient progress and interventions in the EMR Support a positive, team-oriented unit culture
