Schedule:
Variable hours/on-call may be required to meet departmental needs.
Desired Qualifications:
Active RN licensure in Michigan, or compact license. Minimum of 1 year experience in a stepdown or progressive care unit. ACLS and BLS certifications (current). Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills. Excellent ability to communicate and collaborate within interprofessional teams. Dedication to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care.
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care for patients requiring close monitoring and stepdown-level interventions. Monitor patient progress, administer medications, and document accurately within EMR systems. Respond swiftly to emergent situations, utilizing advanced life support protocols. Educate patients and their families on care plans and post-discharge needs. Contribute to a positive and efficient working environment by supporting best practices and continuous improvement.
