Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years MS RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This engaging nursing opportunity centers on delivering exceptional care to patients within a dedicated medical-surgical setting. As a vital member of the clinical team, you will provide comprehensive nursing support to individuals requiring both acute and ongoing care in a dynamic environment. This contract-based role offers a chance to apply your expertise as a Registered Nurse in Medical-Surgical (RN-MS) settings, supporting patient recovery and promoting positive health outcomes.
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time hours Must be available to work rotating shifts, including some weekends and holidays
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license Proven experience in medical-surgical (med-surg) nursing Expertise with interdisciplinary collaboration in acute care settings Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple patients, prioritize effectively, and maintain accuracy in documentation
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver hands-on nursing care and assessments for med-surg patients Accurately administer medications and treatments as prescribed Document vital signs, patient progress, and interventions in a timely, thorough manner Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff Educate patients and families regarding conditions, care plans, and home care Uphold infection prevention, safety standards, and HIPAA compliance Respond to emergencies using sound clinical judgment and protocols
