17 Weeks (Strong Potential for Conversion) Schedule Monday to
Friday:
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM One Saturday per month (as required) Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support the Home Health department. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care across Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties, managing a consistent caseload while ensuring clinical excellence in a home-based setting. Key Responsibilities Deliver skilled nursing care to patients in their homes Manage an average caseload of ~6 patient visits per day Travel across assigned counties, averaging 40-60 miles daily Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and monitor progress Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Maintain accurate and timely documentation Educate patients and families on treatment plans and self-care
Orientation & Training Duration:
2-4 weeks (based on experience and acuity)
Includes:
Onsite orientation Field training with a preceptor Required Qualifications Active Michigan RN License BLS Certification (through American Heart Association) Minimum 1 year of Home Health RN experience Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Additional Information Candidates must be comfortable with daily travel and independent patient care Strong communication and organizational skills are essential Opportunity for long-term placement based on performance
