RN - Pre-Op/PACU/OR (per diem)

Registered Nurse (RN) - OR / Pre-Op / PACU (Cross-Trained) Per Diem | Ambulatory Surgery Center | East Lansing, MI We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our busy ophthalmology surgery center in East Lansing. This role will be cross-trained to work in the Operating Room (OR), Pre-Operative, and PACU areas , providing comprehensive perioperative nursing care to our patients. The RN will deliver high-quality nursing services while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards of care. Responsibilities Perform OR Circulator, Pre-Op, and PACU nursing duties as assigned Provide nursing services for the care and treatment of surgical patients Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans according to center policies and professional standards Administer medications and perform diagnostic procedures and treatments in accordance with center policies and physician orders Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures and respond appropriately to changes in condition Delegate and direct specific aspects of patient care to other healthcare staff as appropriate Provide patient and family education regarding procedures, recovery, and follow-up care Act as a liaison between physicians, patients, families, and healthcare team members Report pertinent patient information and changes in condition to physicians, supervisors, and other medical personnel Maintain knowledge of current nursing trends and uphold professional nursing standards Perform additional duties as assigned Schedule - Per Diem MSC is open Monday - Thursday Center is closed on Fridays! No weekends! No on-call!

From $36.00 per hour
